Birth of a Sampler This is a "scrappy" Medallion quilt with a basic color theme so that fabrics may be added in outer rounds which were not included in the initial rounds as long as they are in the same basic color palette. Many personalizing options are available in the outer rounds and all are presented in class so that each person feels comfortable with the "how to" of their design choice. Students will be able to incorporate these design elements in future quilts. Examples of variations on the theme will be presented.
