Enjoy an ideal setting for classes, clubs and events at Quilter's Corner. We have a talented group of teachers on staff, as well as guest, national and international teachers on occasion.
Intro. to Machine Quilting Saturday, February 20th Explore the basics of machine quilting in this one day class. You’ll stitch a “sampler” using the walking foot, as well the free-motion foot. Layering, pinning, batting choices, threads and marking tools will also be covered. With a little practice you’ll be ready to complete those unfinished tops! Monster Tote Saturday, March 13th A great bag to take all your stuff to a quilting class - can fit a 18" x 24" cutting mat and anything else you may need for a day of instruction and fun. It's also great as a diaper bag or carryon/over night bag when you choose to make the bag with the optional top zipper closure. A place for water bottle, book, diapers, baby bottles, toys... Lots of pockets on the inside and outside to keep you organized.

"Tidbits" Beginning Quilting Saturday, March 27th 1 - 4 p.m. Instructor: Laura Blanchard Fee: $36 Learn rotary cutting and accurate 1/4" piecing while you make this fun, fat quarter quilt. You will leave class as a confident beginner. This class is also great for any quilter who wants to hone their skills and have a great time.
"Fruit Medley" Paper Piecing Sunday, March 21st Choose from the “Fruit Medley” or “Pineapple Punch” patterns and learn the tricks for successful paper piecing. Susan will provide foundations for you and discuss paper foundation options. You will leave class confident to take on all of those stunning paper-pieced quilts!
Birth of a Sampler Saturdays: 4/17, 5/15, This is a "scrappy" Medallion quilt with a basic color theme so that fabrics may be added in outer rounds which were not included in the initial rounds as long as they are in the same basic color palette. Many personalizing options are available in the outer rounds and all are presented in class so that each person feels comfortable with the "how to" of their design choice. Students will be able to incorporate these design elements in future quilts. Examples of variations on the theme will be presented.
